Wounded Baby Bird.

Red Hood figured tonight would be a regular night; kill some bad guys and save a few do-gooder's. Boy, was he wrong.

He walked along the edge of a roof belonging to an old library. He thought he was going crazier than usual when he saw a pool of blood and a body laying in the middle of it. Red decided to check out who died this time, maybe he knew him. He jumped down, landing as gracefully as he could into the alley and it became a lot clearer as to who the body belonged to. Red ran toward him, his younger brother, and skidded to a hault just next to his body.

He first achknowledged the large pool of blood growing at his feet. Despite that, he knealed down next to him and removed his cape which was covering most of his body. Red took a sharp intake of breathe as soon as he saw the 'W' carved into his abdomen then he noticed his brother's chest rise and fall, it was faint but it was there. "Shit.. Baby Bird, what did you get yourself into this time?.." he said aloud and forced a smirk away from his face. Subcounciously he thought he would get an answer from Tim. Nope.

It didn't take too long getting his 'Replacement' back into the cave. Thankfully, the layout of the cave hadn't changed since he had last been in it so everything he needed to save Tim was right where he needed it. He layed Baby Bird down on the metal medical table, removed his helmet then began stripping Tim of his suit. That didn't take too long either, it was surprisingly easy to figure out. It was similar to the way his own suit worked.

Once Timmy was in his boxers he hastily began working on his wounds. "Christ Tim" he exclaimed as he pulled out some debris from the 'W' shaped wound. He shook his head and quickly began fixing him up.

Jason observed his work, 'not as good as Alfred but it'll do' he thought. He nodded and looked over Tim's body once more. He then turned his head to the security camera and gave a faint nod. He picked up his helmet and put it on then made his way out.

He did wonder on his way back; if Bruce dislikes him so much, why did the cave accept his finger prints this time? And why did he even do this in the first place?
